How do I know what Medicare option is right for me?

You  need to first consider your individual healthcare needs to choose the Medicare coverage that is the best fit for you. This process can be complicated, with the many different options available, which is where we can help!

When can I sign up for Medicare?

Generally, you first become eligible to sign up for Medicare's Part A and Part B the 3 months before turning 65, the month you turn 65, and the 3 months after you turn 65 (you may be eligible for Medicare earlier, under different unique circumstances). There are also some circumstances that make it beneficial to sign up later, for example, if you are still receiving employer health coverage. However, in some situations, you can be penalized for not signing up for Medicare at a specific time. Make sure to talk to a specialist if you are delaying electing Medicare to determine if that penalty applies to you.

What are the different Medicare parts?

There is Part A (hospital coverage), Part B (medical coverage), Part C (alternate way to receive benefits), and Part D (provides prescription drug coverage).
